One of the most scenic spots we've seen so far the whole place just reminds me of the shire in lord of the rings. It can be quite tricky manoeuvring through the narrow streets with a big fat motorhome but we made it with not too many scratches on the sides.
We stopped in at a lovely little tea house which sits right over the river where Aysgarth Falls are. The kids enjoyed choc orange scones & free wifi & we had carrot cake & tea cake yum. Afterward we went on a bit of a walk along the river & had a peek at the Abbey/church wow!!!
Then we were back on the road again to see Wensleydale creamery where we tasted all the cheeses & bought a few too. No one was brace enough to try onion cheese. We made our way through the gift shop trying not to break anything & asked the lady at the counter if we could park the motorhome in the carpark for the night & got a quick no so headed off. Lucky we did because we found an even better place
