The main event today was visiting the London Eye which was always on our list as our tickets were given to us for Christmas last year.
In keeping with the Harry Potter theme on the way there we stopped off first at AustraliaHouse which is what Gringotts Bank (from the movies) is based on.
A quick walk up the hill & via a yummy patisserie coffee stop, we freeze our way through a visit to Trafalgar Square which when you're a kid means climbing lions & trying to reach into the fountains for free money. We teach the kids how to break into the toilets without paying as we haven't been carrying quite enough 50p pieces for all these unexpected toilet stops. Then we head back down the hill for our London Eye ride which was an amazing view, nice to see it all in one spot like looking down on a map of London.
We stopped for a rest in the sunshine nearby just taking in the view of Big Ben & Westminster bridge which is where Noah fell asleep.
Finally a trip to Leicester square to watch a bit of a magic show by the buskers and purchase a cup of goodies from M&M world & we are done for the day. Home to eat giant pretzels & cinnamon bagels which the kids have been asking to try-
